Working on something casual and fun is always a good time. But in a working environment keeping it professional has to be kept in mind. For this christmas video that was distributed to the company; I created a fun-loving video that poked a bit of fun at our CEO. I didn't poke too much though, as I didn't want to get fired on Christmas.
Working with other organizations and businesses is a exciting part of Farmwork to Feed Canada. The vidoes below are social media ads I created to help amplify existing campaigns. My goal with these animations was to create something that educated our audience about "why" they should get involved in helping these businesses. Creating a visual story that showed characters, conflicts, and ways to involve themselves in the resolution. The videos were created using Adobe Illustrator for the artwork and After Effects for the Animation.
In my role of Senior Graphic Designer for Farmwork to Feed Canada, I have the pleasure of collaborating with outside organizations and influencers. This video was a collaboration with Wallace Wong and True North Seafood. I provided video editing and motion graphics on part of my organization. My goal was to use an introductory transition to link the film reel Wallace Wong sent and provide a call-to-action at the end of each video. These video have been repurposed many times and are viewable on the Farmwork to Feed Canada website.
For Farmwork to Feed Canada, I was tasked to create our first video content centered around featured recipes froma a variety of sources. Below are a few samples from our In-Season Recipe stream. The first is a collaborative project with Stephanie Lo, a charitable social media influencer dedicated to helping feed the hungry in Downtown Toronto. I collaborated with Stephanie Lo for Canada's Agriculture Day in 2021. The goal of this partnership was to promote Ag Day in Canada and Stephanie Lo's charity work on our platform. The second a Beet Soup Recipe - created by yours truly.
Varied projects from After Effects and animation courses that I have done. Though I have just started animating, I am falling in love with the medium. Animation is a challenge in its own right and it takes a lot of patients and practice to get right.
